hi waterfall users
aaand part 2/2 of aforementioned art trading! weehee
part 1 of 2 of some art trading i did w/ my bf today! we both just drew stuff for each other for 3 hours, if we finished one thing we moved on to somethin else. i'll post the other part i did in a second, felt like it was a bit easier to have as 2 separate posts ^^
it's a productive painting day huh

so i've always loved this piece of official drakengard art and wanted to pay homage to it with one of my characters + some scenes/characters from a campaign they're in! this was a DOOZY to work on but i'm really happy with it for the most part ^^

i'm on one hell of a painting spree lately
so gothic lineages for 5e, huh
aw yeah baby
armor design done!! aaand they are absolutely never getting chosen in art trades ever again lmfao
redesign some armor, they said. it'll be fun, they said.
also known as: how to never get your character drawn in draw the person above you threads EVER again
i was never quiiite happy with eris's armor originally, so... i'm making some tweaks now. currently in the first phase of just trying to figure out the shapes + vague details. it's supposed to be very angelic looking, with wings and bright colors, but also some scary and/or grotesque detailing. they're an oath of conquest paladin that loves to inspire terror and awe just by setting foot on the battlefield!
originally, their armor had wings on the shoulders, a bunch of eyes embossed all over + a grinning mouth centerpiece, but i wasn't quite happy with that, so i'm messing around! some of these keep the eyes motif, but the third one i'm thinking about going more... akhnaten baby doll head dress (aka one of my favorite opera costumes ever). i'm also considering skulls, other sorts of masks, or maybe even just replacing it w/ a lot of eyes! should be a bit more clear when i go and clean up the forms or add color. and all the vague swoopy shapes are gonna get turned into wings Eventually btw
sooo yeah- also putting a poll on this baby, but no guarantees i'll follow it. just trying to get a Feel! also would appreciate comments on what aspects u like best or if you like some elements from one and others from another. or general ideas!
