Commissions

Hey there! Since the commission market closed recently, I figured I should make some sort of announcement as to where to find me if you're still interested in buying art from me.

This Toyhouse thread has the most current information on my pricing. If you've got a Toyhouse, you're welcome to message me on the regarding commissions. If you don't, you can contact me here or on my Discord at robot#5487. Without the Waterfall payment through Stripe, all payment will be over Paypal.

I've got pixel art and other miscellaneous stuff starting at $10, painting starting at $30. I just had a lot of unexpected college-related expenses, so any commissions are definitely appreciated!

An Anonymous user asked:

sorry for questioning, but what kind of program did you use for the animation?? i would love to try, sorryagainskjfhjds-

it's no problem, no need to apologize!! it's called live2d, you can get it here! they've got a series of official tutorials that are a pretty good introduction. don't let all the rigging talk they do scare you- it's tedious, but not as bad as they make it sound. it generally takes me 1-2 hours to rig a drawing for animation, depending on character complexity, and i've made like. three of these.

there's also a similar program called emofuri, which went popular on tumblr and other sites around 2014 ish? it does more of the rigging and animating for you, but it's only available in japanese and you pretty much have to dig up 2014-era tumblr tutorials to make heads or tails out of it. it's also more limited in available expressions and duration you can export.

best of luck if you try it out!! if you need anything, feel free to ask and i can (attempt) to give pointers!

in the middle of my uni's midterms season + teaching myself piano and also italian for fun + sewing cosplay stuff for a friend and i + trying to do a drawing a day for the month (to participate spiritually in inktober without supporting it after some of the shit ive heard going down)... and yet i keep looking at my follower count like hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmb should i do a 100 follower milestone art giveaway too

pink???

this was for that style-bending art challenge! basically, i asked my art friends what things were distinct for my style and i had to create a piece of art without any of them. they said blocky and painterly brush strokes, the colors red and blue and brown, and people. came up with this in the end- there are some bluish and brownish shades, but they're almost all just fun uses of greys, dark yellows, and the surrounding colors. the closest i got to brown was a khaki beige-ish color.

hand studies

first hand is my own but the second two were locally grown by two of my lovely friends
